Australian Migration Law

We find the way forward,
not the reasons it won't work.

Australian migration law changes every year. A reputation built five years ago will not persuade today's Department of Home Affairs. We don't lodge applications — we engineer the structure of approval. Employer Sponsorship, Partner Visas, ART Appeals. Strategy first. Paperwork last.

01 — About YES Migration

Strategy first.
Then the application.

YES Migration is a Melbourne-based Australian migration consultancy specialising in the cases most agencies refuse to take — complex employer sponsorships, partner visas with thin evidence trails, and decisions already refused at the Department level.

We don't process applications. We design migration strategies. Every case begins with a frank diagnosis: where the file is weak, what the legislation actually requires today, and which path gives the strongest probability of approval. Only then do we touch a form.

Five years of credibility doesn't pass today's Department, and yesterday's playbook doesn't survive the ART. The cases we now run sit at the centre of that change — and that is where we are most useful.

02 — The YES Method

We don't lodge applications.
We engineer approval structures.

Most refusals trace back to one cause: the case wasn't designed before the form was filled. We invert that order — strategy first, structure second, submission last. The same engineering runs every category we take.

01
Structure Design

Employer revenue, headcount and position fit reviewed from the case officer's perspective — refusal grounds removed before lodgement.

02
Job Redefinition

Where qualification and experience don't line up cleanly, we redefine the position legally — so the gap stops being the case.

03
Niche Focus

Dedicated databases for trades, cooking, hospitality and professional roles — approval logic tuned for the categories most firms turn away.

04
PR Pathway

We don't stop at a 2-to-4-year visa. The 186 PR transition is mapped into the case strategy from day one.

Step 01

Employer & Position Diagnosis

Revenue, staffing and forward business plan analysed to identify the position with the highest approval probability — before any nomination is filed.

Step 02

Career Matching & Reconstruction

Scattered evidence rebuilt against Department criteria. Where the qualification is short, RPL or equivalent pathways are designed into the strategy.

Step 03

Legal Submission

Not paperwork — a Legal submission setting out precisely why this role, in this business, requires this person. The decision is shaped before it's made.

03 — Our Services

Three categories.
One method.

Every case at YES Migration runs through the same structure-design philosophy — whether it's a 482, a partner application, or an ART appeal. The visa changes; the engineering doesn't.

Near-Expiry · Strategy Rebuild

Visa expiring in weeks — strategy redesigned

Filed in the last window with a complete change of approach. The original plan would not have held; the new one matched the client's history to the right subclass and was lodged in time.

Outcome · Lodged before bridging lapse
ART Appeal · 482 Refusal

482 refusal overturned at the Tribunal

A 482 refused on Genuine Position grounds was reframed by analysing the employer's actual operations, not the template position description. The Tribunal accepted the reconstructed case.

Outcome · Refusal set aside on review
Partner Visa · Sparse Evidence

Partner visa approved with limited paperwork

Couple living together less than 12 months, minimal financial co-mingling. Approval came from structuring the relationship narrative across statements, witness declarations and behavioural evidence.

Outcome · 820 granted on first decision
